I believe Jesus will return for His Bride [the Church]. Those who are alive will be caught up in a twinkling of an eye at the last trump. In short, I’m a Pre-tribulation Dispensationalist. But, I didn’t write this to persuade anyone of anything.
There has been a lot of noise lately from the Date Setters as to Tishrei (Tishri) 5783 (September 26 2022). I’m not giving credence to date setting. The teaching led down some interesting rabbit holes. I enjoyed learning about Jewish costumes, faith and practice. The 7 feasts, as celebrated, are quit interesting. While enjoying the Rabbit trails I’m not buying this teaching, date setting aside. They get to Tishrei by way of last trump of Feast of Trumpets (cf. Leviticus 23; Numbers 29). They get to 2022 by two paths one is 3 day theory (3000 years) and the second is the 80 year theory. In upcoming posts I will unpack this and discus the trumpet of the Lord, the last trump and the Olivet Discourse.

This is a fascinating topic, especially in this day and age. You’re wise not to get into date setting. Jesus said no one knows the day or time, although He didn’t say no one knows the year. – Not that I do – I don’t. 😉
