6/11/21

Well here we are, another day. What will I do with it? What will He do with it?

I bolted up in bed from a bad dream, put in an urgent call to my Father. My standing had just been called into question by the accuser. My advocate was already before the throne. He declared the accuser had no standing. My Father’s love reined Supreme.

I was accused of not doting an “I” or crossing a “T” and maybe I had missed a “jot” or a “tittle” but none of that mattered. I had been pardoned and adopted into His family. The account had been settled along time ago. Standing is based on His record not mine. The defense rested.

Here is the record: Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead…

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.” –1 Corinthians 15:3-6, King James Version (KJV)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” –John 3:16, King James Version (KJV)

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” –John 17:3, King James Version (KJV)

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” –John 1:12-13, King James Version (KJV)

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” —Romans 10:8-9, King James Version (KJV)

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” –John 3:18

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” –Romans 8:1

So it is Written, so it is! I trust in the faithfulness of God, the testimony of His Word and the finished work of Christ. When I was condemned to death, He took my place. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Got to Go — That’s all folks!

Blessings,
