Yes I’m still alive, the WordPress Account Bible Student is still Active and so is the domain Bible Student Hub. I have not been able to post or read posts for a few weeks. I have been absent from the internet, for the most part. The primary issues are health and transitioning to new/changing realities. While there is cause for concern, I’m progressing through the dysfunction.
A period of hyper intensity Physically, Mentally and Spiritually seems to have been the cause of the crash. Coming out of a crash the first concern is Spirituality. I have personal/offline Bible study, reading and classes. Then there are chores, responsibilities, obligations and Church life.
As I’m able to come back online I’ve been mostly consumed with those personal studies. May first begins the recreational season. Responsibilities in the park will be at the forefront of daily obligations but I will be able to continue the juggling of Church, Ministry, service, responsibilities and obligations.
I have been doing some work, behind the scenes, mostly thinking, planning and research. The domain Bible Student Hub is a work in progress and changes as is necessary. Our main focus is the Bible Study Start Page then the static pages and lastly this blog.
The formatting of the Bible Study Start Page changed last week and more resources have been added. We are moving toward listing by tools (Dictionary, Concordance, Lexicons, etc.) rater than listing by site (Bible Hub, Bible Study Tools, Study Light, etc.) to this point we have culled them out and listed them under the site. We list original sources first when available (Websters Dictionary 1828, Etymology Dictionary, etc.) Among the newly added sites are Textus Receptus and The Kings Bible. Also new are direct links to online Bibles (ESV, CSB and NLT).
New to my personal study Bible (PocketBible by Laridian) Daily Bible, Commentary and Hymns from the One Year Bible series. I believe most of these are available online and the original material in Public Domain so sharable. When I do a daily post I try to bring together History, Bible, Commentary and Hymns.
I finished reading Major Bible Themes by Lewis Sperry Chafer and John Walvoord. Now reading Systematic Theology by Augustus Hopkins Strong via Logos. Note: this is in Public Domain and is available free for E‑SWORD, find it here, or on Bible Study Tools (the link above).
Augustus Hopkins Strong comes before Lewis Sperry Chafer in the history of Theological development. I don’t have access to Systematic Theology by Lewis Sperry Chafer at this time but is on my Logos Wish List. It will take some time to work through Strong’s, Hope to have Chafer’s by then.
