New Hope Baptist Church

Last week Bro Jimmy gave a sermon from Romans 6. It was an excellent presentation. You can listen to it if you like. Past Sermons can be found on the Church’s web site.

Trust & ObeyBlessed Assurance

This week Pastor Randy Heady’s sermon was Not Everyone walks away. –John 6:60-71 –Outline

  1. Not everyone can handle the truth: 5000 to only 12; call to commitment; Truth received/rejected; Jesus calmed to be the way of salvation, Son of God, Bread of Life, Living Water, superior to Moses –2 Thes 2:3, 2 tim 3:5; Faith alone; apart from God they couldn’t believe –2 cor 4:4
  2. Everyone lives in glass houses –Heb 4:12
  3. Genuine faith can not walk away: To receive Christ is to receive The Word – Him; Lord & Savior –1 John 2:19; Faith; Experience; Christian; Lost —I did it my way.

Personal: Last week was very emotional, now that Mannheim is behind me I’m concentrating on personal growth, service and ministry.

There is a balance in life. I believe in Whole Being Health: Body, Soul and mind or Spirituality, Mental Stability and Physical fitness. What about Growth, responsibilities and purpose? Then there is Quiet Time, Study Time and The Work.

The park will soon open and responsibility will soon consume the majority of my time and efforts. I hope not only to be faithful to the Corps but also the Church, community, Bible study, service, ministry, prayer and meditation.

So I pray for a clean heart and sound mind; that all that I say and do brings glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; for wisdom, knowledge courage and strength; greater faith and dedication; for His will to be done in and through me. I trust whole in my God and know that He will provide all that is necessary for life and service!

Create In Me A Clean HeartUnto Thee O Lord

Got to Go — Thats all folks!

Blessings,

Dave the Bible student
