This weeks Good News Memory Verse . . . And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. — John 6:35 -from BBN. This week on the Conference Pulpit: Adrian Rogers.
Today’s KJV Verse of the Day: Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Colossians 4:5-6 –Harper Collins
Personal: Safer at Home orders are still in effect here in Nashville. We will move to Phase One Monday. Our Park is closed and we are on Stand Down orders. Looks like at least June before those orders can be repealed. Mannheim announced we will be furloughed for around 17 weeks beginning May 17 2020. Looking forward to Sunday, Bakers Grove Baptist Church will be meeting in the building and hosting a picnic on the grounds. These have been challenging times indeed! I claim, God will see me threw the darkness and into the light. James testifies that the trying of faith worketh patience. (cf James 1) and Paul stated that the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance. (cf Galatians 5:16-26) Lord let me go forth in your Spirit armed with the truth and be Salt and Light too the world, Amen.
Bible Student Hub: Defining the vision: To serve the worldwide community of Bible Students who are not supported by a school. To provide links to Bible Study tools and helpful resources. To provide notes, outlines, study questions, tests and quizzes.
To this point I have not been doing very well to be true to this vision. I have spent to much time on daily posts. I am a Bible Student and those posts have diverted my time and attention from the degree program I have been working threw. I have enjoyed doing the posts but in a effort to refocus I will be discontinuing the daily posts. I may move to a weekly post or maybe just periodic posts as the Spirit moves.
To this point we have one Follower and have received 1 Like. The site has been viewed in the US, South Africa, France Italy and China. Please support the effort, I need your critique, comments and suggestions!

On the light side: Christian History: 1948; American missionary and martyr Jim Elliot wrote in his journal: ‘Either take me to be with Thee, Savior, or put out the life of this old man as I draw near Thee in the flesh. Consume me, Fiery Lover, as Thou dost choose.’ World History: 1948; Israel is declared as an independent state; apartheid begins in South Africa; World Health Organization Established; On This Day: Germany Berlin Issue; The Beatles “Let It Be” Released.
Thought for the day: “. . . There will be an answer, let it be” -Jesus is the answer! -“I am come that they might have life” (cf John 10:10) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3) Life in Christ is Eternal, Abundant and Free. ” . . . Ye must be born again.” ( cf John 3)
