This Week

Good News Memory Verse

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. — John 6:35 -from BBN

Personal: Still on Stay at Home here in Nashville. Our Park is closed and we are on Stand Down orders. Looks like June before that will change. Mannheim is sill running sales virtually and no word as to when we will be called back to work. This has been a challenging week, what with storms, loss of shore power, loss of home internet and Alzheimer’s.

Bible Student Hub: Defining the vision: To serve the worldwide community of Bible Students who are not supported by a school. To provide links to Bible Study tools and helpful resources. To provide notes, outlines, study questions, tests and quizzes. To this point I have not been doing very well to be true to this vision. I have spent to much time on daily posts. I am a Bible Student and those posts have diverted my time and attention from the degree program I have been working threw. I have enjoyed doing the posts but in a effort to refocus I will be discontinuing the daily posts. I may move to a weekly post or maybe just periodic posts as the Spirit moves. Please support the effort, I need your critique, comments and suggestions!

Today

Personal: Me time – Coffee; News and Good News and a Hymn -via, BBN on the radio, WYFN 980 AM; Sunrise Meditations with David Carr, Voice of the Appalachians with Dr. Jeffery Fugate and a few Spiritual songs -via, King of Kings Radio.

On the light side: While recalling my introduction to Christian Radio I wandered Back through the years, back to the seasons of my youth. I lamented, Dónde Estará Mi Primavera. Christian History1951 Religious program “The Circuit Rider” broadcast for the last time over ABC television. Featuring sacred music and biographies of great evangelists, the series had premiered only two months earlier, in March. National Day Prayer2020 events. Our Lord’s Prayer for us, in the Garden. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3)

Thought for the day: I have enjoyed and appreciated Christian Radio for many years. King of Kings Radio features local pastors and Country/Southern Gospel music; I was introduced to BBN while attending Trinity Baptist Church a Dave Barba plant. Both Dave and BBN Founder Lowell Davey hailed from Bob Jones University. Back in the day, early CCM brought me to WNAZ.
